About My A to Z Challenge

My A to Z challenge is a fun way of helping you think of things to write aboutmeet new people and find out a lot more about what makes them tick.

Be warned, it can become addictive, but that’s all part of the fun.

By sharing links to fellow A to Z bloggers, you’ll be helping each other promote your blogs and complete your alphabet.

The appeal of this challenge is that it gives you a chance to blog about stuff that matters to you, giving you an opportunity to write freely and passionately. And to give you ideas for at least 27 new posts!

The challenge is to use the letters of the alphabet to inspire you to blog about things you care about within an overall theme. So, if your blog is about gardening, your personal A to Z of gardening might cover plants you love, weeds or other pests that drive you up the wall, your favourite or least favourite gardening tasks or anything else related to gardening that matters to you, personally.

Start with an introductory post explaining your Personal A to Z on your blog and link to it from your profile on this site. Then start work on your alphabet. It doesn’t matter in which order you choose to use the letters. You can start with ‘W is for…’ if you like.

You should use each letter of the alphabet at least once and start your posts with the letter and the topic of your post, like this: A is for Apples, B is for Birds, C is for Cabbages…

Add an excerpt of your posts to this site so that other bloggers can find you and follow the link back to your blog to read the rest of your post and leave comments.

Issue the challenge to your blogging friends and watch the community grow.

If you’re curious about where the idea came from, find out more in How did it all start?
